Our Mission
Real Relief for Skin That’s Tried Everything
If you’re here, you’ve likely tried every "miracle" cream on the market, only to be left frustrated. At Obvs Skincare, our mission is simple: to provide real relief for people who have tried everything. Based in our bespoke Hampshire lab, founder Sian Louise hand-crafts highly effective solutions for adults and children prone to eczema, psoriasis, and acne. We don’t just make skincare; we formulate peace of mind.
Scientific Purity & Organic Integrity
We believe that what isn’t in your skincare is just as important as what is. As a Certified Soil Association COSMOS Organic brand, our ingredients are grown without the interference of pesticides, herbicides, or toxic synthetic fertilisers.
Why does this matter? For reactive skin, these trace chemicals are often the hidden triggers for flares. By using organic, non-contaminated botanical ingredients, Obvs Skincare offers a significantly safer profile, avoiding the harmful substances that often aggravate sensitive skin.
Our "Free-From" Guarantee
To ensure total transparency, every batch is formulated to be strictly free from:
- Synthetics & Toxins: No Parabens, Phthalates, Formaldehyde-releasers, or SLS/SLES.
- Common Irritants: No Artificial Fragrances, Soy, Almond Oil, or Peanuts.
- Environmental Red-Lines: 100% Palm Oil-free, Petroleum-free, and Microplastic-free.
Innovation in Sustainability
Sustainability shouldn’t compromise safety. We are proud to be the first Soil Association COSMOS Organic and Vegan Society certified brand to use a new, innovative plant-based packaging.
Our packaging is intentionally minimal and sustainably designed. We utilise biodegradable and plant-based materials for every component possible, ensuring we reduce our environmental impact wherever we can without ever compromising the performance or hygiene of your skincare.
Ethical to the Core
Certified Vegan: We are certified by The Vegan Society. By omitting animal by-products like honey or beeswax, we use fewer, higher-quality ingredients that are far less likely to irritate the skin.
Cruelty-Free: Obvs Skincare is Leaping Bunny approved. This is the global gold standard for cruelty-free products, requiring standards that go far above legal requirements.
Climate Positive: Through our partnership with Ecologi, we plant a tree for every single order placed and fund climate-positive projects globally.
A Note from our Hampshire Lab
Every item you receive has been meticulously handcrafted and quality-checked. Since our launch in May 2021, we’ve been featured in Vogue, The Vegan Magazine, and BBC Radio, but our favourite feedback always comes from the customers who finally found the relief they were looking for.
Made with love. Backed by science. Proven by skin.
